I’m a passionate visual artist & poet pursuing a BFA with minors in psychology & public policy at Portland State University.
My work bridges creativity, human understanding, and social impact; exploring how art and words can inspire change and foster connection. Through themes of mental health, social justice, and resilience, I strive to create meaningful projects that resonate deeply with people and communities.

Witnessing Within • digital collage

• Layered with personal symbolism and motifs that echo my journey, this piece is a reflection of where I’ve been and where I’m going; blending memory, movement, and meaning into one evolving landscape.• Candles represent guidance, reflection, and remembrance. Spiders symbolize patience and resilience. The intricate lines forming a map across the iris were designed by a fellow student at PSU; this detail connects to my husband’s studies in geography, our move from North Carolina to Portland, and my gratitude for being part of this community. At the top, the spine and moon image (sourced from Björk’s website) references lunar cycles, personal transformation, and my own experience with scoliosis.

Mossweaver's Oath

36" layered textile installation

• Crafted entirely from secondhand & scrap materials.
• Featuring soft internal padding for enhanced depth & dimension, as well as flowing vine-like strings for an evolving, organic feel.
• The piece maintains a raw, unfinished quality with elements intentionally left partially unpinned for a sense of movement & natural growth. 🌀

Ash | Earth | Air

38" experimental textile

we burn, we rise, we feel the sky
some rooted deep where embers lie
some carried high on borrowed winds
yet all return where life begins
